Job Title: Electronics Assembler

Hours: Full-time with complete benefits package
Summary
Perform assembly of printed circuit boards, cables, and mechanical components
Responsibilities and duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform hand soldering and rework of complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) with through hole, surface mount, and fine pitch/0201/0402 surface mount components using leaded and lead free solder
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and parts lists
- Kit materials for upcoming assemblies
- Use a stencil to screen printed circuit boards with solder paste and place components with tweezers, air nozzle, and/or manual pick and place machine
- Monitor and perform basic tasks with regards to automated assembly equipment (pick and place, reflow, automatic optical inspection - AOI, X-ray)
- Keep track of and report excess materials to be returned to stock
- Build cable assemblies including crimping, soldering, pinning, and testing for continuity
- Perform box builds using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches
Workskills: Follows directions, meets deadlines, dedicated work ethic, team player, detail oriented, organized, and mechanically inclined
Experience: General soldering experience and experience soldering under a microscope desirable, IPC certified desirable, inspection experience desirable, computer literacy desirable, willing to train strong entry level candidate
Education: High School Diploma minimum
