If your idea is ready to jump off the paper and you don't know where
to turn next then this presentation is right up your alley. Learn
the basics of prototyping from industry professional Thomas Krol.
Thomas Krol is the Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer of IMET
Corporation, a Newtown, PA based mechanical and electrical engineering
firm. He graduated from Penn State University with an associate
degree in electrical engineering technology. He continued his education
and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor degree in electrical
engineering from The College of New Jersey. During his college years,
he co-developed a voice-controlled telephone (VCT) for an elderly
friend who developed Lou Gehrig's disease and lost the strength
to use a conventional telephone. Recently, Thomas placed first in
the 2002 East Coast Collegiate Entrepreneur Awards sponsored by
Fairleigh Dickinson University's Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial
Studies and was a finalist in the 2003 Collegiate Inventors Competition
sponsored by the National Inventors Hall of Fame. IMET Corporation
provides in-house prototyping, development, short run production,
full design documentation, and project management solutions to inventors
and industry. Formed in 2000 by two engineering college students,
IMET fulfills the need of bringing new life to a traditionally dreary
engineering world. IMET quickly acquired the resources necessary
to provide the most professional services to their clients and bring
over 91 years of combined experience in both mechanical and electrical
engineering. IMET is founded on four core values: Honesty, Teamwork,
Passion for customer service, and a keen business sense instilled
within every project.
